Roshan is the co-founder of the multi award winning community group Dope Black Women (DBW) – a digital safe space for Black women across the globe to discuss issues, network and connect.
DBW recognises that many Black women feel that they do not have the support needed to navigate their personal and professional lives, oftentimes feeling that they have to conform to patriarchal ideals about how they should look, think and behave. DBW prides themselves on embracing the multi-faceted nature of Black Women and Roshan is particularly passionate about disrupting stereotypes amongst Black women who face multiple forms of marginalisation.

The ultimate vision of Dope Black Women, is to create a safe space for Black women to express their authentic selves.
With this, she hosts 2 international Whatsapp membership groups and the organisation has now expanded to the Caribbean and South Africa too. Roshan also appears on the Dope Black Women podcast, recognised by Spotify as their ‘Pick of the Month’ and ‘Pick of the Year’ in 2019.
